Shafnisky Electric has been in business for over 35 years, and we’re growing. We’re looking for a motivated salesperson with electrical field experience—particularly in old-work residential, new-work residential, and commercial projects.
This role is ideal for:
✅ A lead electrician ready to transition out of hands-on work and into sales.
✅ An electrical contractor owner seeking steady revenue as they near retirement.

✔️️ Financial & Job Costing Systems – Helping you track profit margins and commissions accurately.
✔️️ Estimating Support – Ensuring jobs are priced correctly from the start.
🔹 Stay informed on industry trends, pricing, and competitive developments.
🔹 Recommend improvements in products, services, and policies based on market research.
🔹 Resolve customer concerns by investigating issues and developing solutions.
🔹 Maintain professional knowledge through training, networking, and professional development.
🔹 Keep accurate records of sales and customer interactions.
🔹 Must be proficient in reading blueprints.
🔹 Minimum 3 years of electrical experience with a strong background in old-work residential.
🔹 Handle permit applications and acquire job numbers from POCO.
🔹 Support production crews by clarifying project details.
🔹 Maintain customer relationships throughout the job to ensure satisfaction.
🔹 Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook).

💰 $15.00 - $20.00 per hour + commission (negotiable – top pay for the right candidate)

🔹Minimum 5 years in residential and commercial wiring.
🔹Strong rough-in and finish wiring, construction knowledge, and troubleshooting abilities. Comfortable using computers for work-related tasks.
📆 Monday to Friday with some weekend availability
