Our Team Guarantees Exceptional
Results That Last
No matter what kind of trade you need to hire for your home, there’s always something new coming down the pipeline. This is especially true in the world of electrical services in the Lehigh Valley, PA.
Sure, you can hire a handyman who dabbles in electrical work, but chances are that person won’t have the skills, experience, or knowledge you need.
Since your home’s electrical system is essential to your everyday life, it must be handled by someone who stays on top of the latest trends, advancements, and regulations.
The more knowledgeable your electrician is, the better your home’s electrical system will function and the safer your family will be.
So, how do you find the right team for the job? You look for one led by a Master Electrician dedicated to staying ahead of the industry curve – Shafnisky Electric.
The Shafnisky Difference
At Shafnisky Electric, we serve the Lehigh Valley, PA and Northern New Jersey. We’re also required to maintain all appropriate licensing to work in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, which is no small feat.
But we didn’t stop with standard licensing. Our owner and hands-on leader, Tom Shafnisky, is a Master Electrician. That’s the highest level of achievement, training, and skills any electrician can hold and allows Tom to supervise our journeymen and apprentice electricians.
In Pennsylvania, there is no specific statewide licensing. Instead, licensing works individually throughout the municipalities we serve. In New Jersey, it’s a bit different, with just one license and a minimum requirement of obtaining 32 hours of continuing education unit (CEU) credits in three years.
As with all things we do, we exceed the base requirements. Tom takes between 10 and 15 CEU credits each year. Not only does this allow him to maintain his licensing, but it also opens the doors to learning all the latest and greatest advancements in the industry.
We Share Our Knowledge
All that information is only beneficial if the entire team has access to it. As a natural teacher and trainer, Tom holds weekly training sessions to share what he’s learned in his classes.
This allows him to share any updates to electrical codes, which are essential to keeping you and your family safe and getting the job done right the first time. Not to mention, it ensures any job we complete will pass all required inspections.
Our training sessions are also the ideal time to learn about new products. Whether this information comes from one of Tom’s classes or a high-quality trade magazine, everyone gets to learn about it.
The Shafnisky team aims to quickly embrace any new product that will ultimately be safer, more efficient, easier to install, and better for the customer.
By sharing all his newfound information, Tom enables our team of electricians to think outside the box, especially when faced with challenges or critical electrical emergencies. With more and better options available, they can devise the ideal solution to your electrical problem.
Continuing Training And Collaboration
Tom also stands out in our community as the President of the Electrical Contractors of the Lehigh Valley, PA, a position he’s held for around 20 years. This grants us access to exceptional educational opportunities.
This incredible organization offers two CEU classes annually. We encourage our electricians to take these courses, and we pay their tuition. This enables them to get the ongoing education they need to stay at the top of their game when working on your home.
Our production meetings are a time of collaboration and bouncing ideas back and forth. The experience of one electrician has the potential to impact that of another.
By reviewing difficult projects, our team troubleshoots for the future. This enables them to think better on their feet when faced with a tricky problem. In addition, they’re more confident in their abilities to deliver the high-quality work our team is known for.
So, if you need an electrician in the Lehigh Valley, PA who focuses on continuing education and constant improvement, choose Shafnisky Electric. Contact us today for a free estimate.
